TROTWOOD-MADISON HISTORICAL SOCIETY KRIS KRINGLE SHOP

KRIS KRINGLE SHOP
THURSDAY – FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10 – 12
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
349 SOUTH BROADWAY
TROTWOOD, OHIO

Our first Kris Kringle Shop of 2015 is now history.  Although the South Broadway Bridge is closed, our loyal customers and members of the Society helped make the first Kris Kringle week a great success.  In fact, our sales were 8 percent higher than last year’s first week sales.  We sold a lot merchandise and there were a lot of empty spaces on the shelves.  Linda and Carlene sorted and cleaned more items to put on the shelves, so come to the Kris Kringle Shop and check it out.

TROTWOOD-MADISON HISTORICAL SOCIETY KRIS KRINGLE SHOP

KRIS KRINGLE SHOP
DECEMBER 3, 4, 5
DECEMBER 10, 11, 12

I guess Christmas is the time of the year to give thanks for all the good things that have been bestowed upon us.  The Society has been especially blessed this year with many donations that have been received.  If you have attended our garage sales, Shop Til You Drop booth, or the Country Store during harvest fest you know the amount and quality of the items we have to offer our customers.  If you have not visited these events, Kris Kringle will be your last chance to come to one of our Society sales this year.  I think you will be truly amazed at what we have to offer and will find that something special that you have always wanted—even if you did not know you wanted it.

The elves worked  hard in the Kris Kringle Shop getting ready for the opening day on December 3, 2015.   The elves sorted, cleaned, priced and put the items on display.  They do such a great job and the shop looks beautiful.  Visit the shop and you will find a Christmas wonderland.

Come to Kris Kringle Shop; visit the members working in the shop; support your Society; and have a great time. We hope to see you all there.  Shop hours are from 10am-5pm each day of operation at the Iams Homestead property, 349 S. Broadway, Trotwood, OH. For additional information or donations please call 837-5387 or 837-0355.

Hello everyone!  Never let it be said that the shopping and merchandising staff of the Society is taking a rest.  As fond memories of Harvest Fest and Country Store fade into next year, your intrepid volunteers are gearing up for the October Shop ‘til You Drop.

This is one Shop Till You Drop that you do not want to miss.  We have been especially blessed with many donations this summer.  The sorting team have been very busy sorting, cleaning and preparing these items for your shopping pleasure.  We have received a lot of old collectible items—kitchen wares, dishes, vintage glassware, costume jewelry and many more items.

It’s just before Halloween and Thanksgiving so we will have items at Shop just for these festive days.  Come out and shop; visit with the volunteers working in the booths; and support the Historical Society.
