IAMS HOMESTEAD MUSEUM OPENING

Greatly appreciates your past support and donations to our community museum. You are cordially invited to the Iams Homestead 2017 Grand Opening Sunday, April 2, 2017 2-4 p.m. 

MUSEUM

WHERE: Iams Homestead Museum at 349 S. Broadway, Trotwood, Ohio

TIME: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or longer if necessary.

TO VIEW WHAT: Displays / Program Relating to Trotwood and Madison Township i.e.: 

1. Madison Township Resident- Rilma Stuckhardt was a school teacher only one year after she graduated from Madison High School in 1916 a dedicated life-long educator she taught until 1964. 
2. A Unique display of Warped Wing Trotwood Lager airplanes, vehicles, trailer and accessories created from Warped Wing’s Trotwood Lager cans made by Former Trotwood’s resident Tom Brown.
3. Early Women’s Fashions…including a vintage swimming suit…a must see.
 4. Tour of 1847 Iams House

TREE CARE PLAQUE

WHERE: At our 1200+ year old Bur Oak behind the Iams Barn

RIBBON CUTTING TIME: 3 PM at the Bur Oak Tree

TO VIEW WHAT: The work accomplished by Tree Care Inc.  In maintaining the health of Trotwood’s ODNR certified 2nd largest Bur Oak Tree in the state of Ohio

Refreshments will be served.
